Qualifications

MB BS LRCP MRCS DRCOG

Dr Stephens qualified in medicine from Guy's Hospital Medical School, London in 1973. He worked as a Renal and Surgical House Surgeon at Guy's Hospital, as a Metropolitan Police Surgeon in the West and East End of London and as a Senior House Surgeon in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Thomas' Hospital, London.

Dr Stephens was a General Practitioner and Partner from 1977 to 2010 in a training practice within the National Health Service where he became Senior Partner in 1997. He taught doctors, nurses and medical students within the practice.

He has specialised in medical legal examinations, reports and insurance claims since 1991. Dr Stephens has wide experience of all aspects of General Practice and a dedicated interest in family medicine.

Dr John Stephens is a Private General Practitioner with over 45 years experience in the medical profession.

Dr Stephens is a Freeman of the City of London and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is married with three grown-up children and seven grandchildren and is interested in the Arts, sport and travel.
